Math Resources in the OCSB Student Portal
All of the following digital resources can be accessed at the links below and are also available in the OCSB Student Portal. Erikson Institute: Early Math Collaborative - A collection of math activities that parents can use to support the development of math at home. Many games and read-aloud activities can be found on this site. (Grades K-3)
Encouraging Math Learning at Home: A guide for Parents - This guide from the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association, lists several everyday activities and games that parents can use to encourage math learning at home.
CEMC Digital - From the University of Waterloo Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), CEMC Digital resources provide enrichment opportunities to students with a mix of online games, video lessons, exercises and challenge problems (Grades 4-12)
Knowledgehook - Use Knowledgehook to track your child's progress in math, access interactive resources, and receive real-time updates on your child's strengths and areas for improvement. Students can sign up with their OCSB student email account and a join code from their teacher. No join code? You can sign up as a student (parent confirmation required) to practice using Knowledgehook at home. (Grades K-10)
